I wanted to share a collage that I did for a craft show that was last fall. I entered this collage in the art show and low and behold I won first place for this collage! This is the second year I entered this show, last year I also won first place for a different collage. I was so stunned when I won again this year. I'm my own worst critic, and I thought I'd never have a chance with all the other talented artist who entered. Imagine my surprise. I really hope you enjoy this collage. It's funny that this was a collage that I did really fast, and didn't take a lot of time to think about what I was creating.
I used my Cricut machine to cut the ladies out of black cardstock. The flowers, butterflies and kite are from Martha Stewart. The blinged scroll, and the bird are by Recollections. I'm not really sure who made the patterened paper, but if your really interested I can search through my huge paper pile and try and figure it out if you need me to. Just post a comment, and I'll be glad to. The crotcheted flower is made by me. I used bubble wrap with acrylic paint on the background.
