"Grow Your Blog"
Today I wanted to share with you all a blog party that I'll be involved in called "Grow Your Own Blog Party for 2014". Since I'm a new blogger, this should be a great opportunity to get my blog out there for more people to enjoy. Hello, my name is Kathy, and I'm a craft addict. There, I've said it. The first step is, admitting that you have a problem. I'm sure there are plenty of you out there who know what I'm talking about. That's why I decided to start a blog. I'd love to have more followers, so please feel free to join. I can also be reached at my email address at DKLuckyM13@aol.com. I also have a pinterest page at pinterestdkluckym13/.
I love so many different types of crafts, such as mixed media, paper dolls, steampunk, card making, crocheting, collage, sewing, any type of paper crafting, altered art, embroidery, jewelry making, polymer clay, quilling, drawing, and art journaling, just to name a few. See what I mean about that addiction thing. I'm so excited to be meeting some new friends, as I hope we'll become. Please take the time to visit more of the great blogs out there, I know I'll be visiting quite a few. I was hoping to put up their badge on the side of my blog, but I'm still new to blogging, and can't quite figure out how to add it. The web address of the "Grow Your Blog" is at vicki-2bagsfull.blogspot.com. I hope you all sign up to be my followers, if I can get 100 new followers, I'll have a free giveaway. Everyone loves free stuff! Thanks guys and happy crafting!!!
Hi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting from the Grow Your Blog party. I too love to make cards and do papercrafts. Your blog is so pretty! I plan to look around a bit more and then be on my way to visit the others. I am your newest follower. I do hope you will stop by for a visit and enter my giveaway and follow back. Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs – Donna
Thanks Donna! I went by your blog and love all the nice cards and beautiful images you have posted. Hopefully we'll become blogging buddies.
DeleteHi, nice to meet you! I love many different crafts too! To add the button, go to your dashboard and click on "layout". Click on "add a gadget" and select "Html/Java", a box will appear, copy and paste the code from 2 Bags Full, click save and you're done!
ReplyDeletep.s. maybe you'll consider turning off word verification as it puts off a lot of commenters
Thank you for your help to add the GYB button. I can't seem to find the code on the 2 bags full website, so still having issues. How do you turn off word verification? I'm sorry to pick your brain, but as a newbie it's all so confusing. I'm surprised I was able to set up my blog! It's been nice chatting with you, and I'm glad you came to visit. Thanks for all the info.
DeleteWhat a lovely Blog you have. I love your creativity. I am a cardmaker and know the pleasure that making something can bring. Happy Weekend. Judy x

I too am a fellow doodler. I've just taken it up a few years ago, and I love it. I try hard not to be too critical, but sometimes it's hard not to compare. I'm glad that I was able to share my adventures with texture paste. I love using it because of the dimension it gives my pieces. Keep practicing, and don't expect perfection. Sometimes you just have to let go.

Hello Evalina! So nice to hear from you and I'm really loving this party. It's such a great opportunity for those of us who don't have many followers. I loved your embroidery pieces you've done. I like to do embroidery too, but haven't done any in awhile. I need to try it again.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I'm thrilled to have some new followers. Please keep in touch.
DeleteI love all your projects and look forward to seeing more. I am a new follower, but it wasn't easy finding your "follow me" button. If you can, try to move it to a side bar where people can see it as soon as them enter your blog. Just a suggestion. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Derrith for your kind comments. I moved my follow me button to right at the top of my blog, do you think that's better or should I put it on the side or bottom. I really appreciate the comments, and I hope to hear from you soon.
